From the 2025 season, the Porsche Sports Cup will find a new motorsport home and become part of the ADAC Racing Weekend. Next year, Porsche will make six guest appearances with three series on the ADAC’s popular sports platform, which is expanding and for the first time will host eight events between May and October. A premiere is scheduled for July 12/13, when an event will be held at the Red Bull Ring in Styria for the first time. The ADAC Racing Weekend will return to the Salzburgring for a second Austrian guest appearance from September 5-7. The season opener will take place in Hockenheim on May 3rd and 4th. All ADAC Racing Weekend races will once again be available to watch in a free livestream in 2025.
The Porsche Sprint Challenge GT3, the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT4 and the Porsche Endurance Challenge, all previously part of the Porsche Sports Cup Germany, will be part of six ADAC Racing Weekends from 2025. Porsche is using the ADAC’s platform for semi-professional and amateur racing to position itself optimally for the 21st season of the Porsche Sports Cup Germany. The Porsche Sprint Challenge GT3 and the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT4 will each have two 30-minute sprints per race weekend, while the Porsche Endurance Challenge will be a 60-minute race with a pit stop and possible driver change.
“We are delighted about this high-caliber addition to the ADAC Racing Weekend and are now extending our successful collaboration with Porsche in the DTM to our second platform. The ADAC Racing Weekend has developed strongly in recent years and has enjoyed high demand from various racing series. We are taking this into account and expanding the calendar for the coming season to eight events,” says ADAC Head of Motorsport Thomas Voss.
The other series that will be an integral part of the ADAC Racing Weekend next year will be announced in the coming weeks.
