Starting signal and off we go… The BASF FIRMENCUP, the highlight for all recreational athletes in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, is entering the next round. Since its premiere in 2003, the enthusiasm for the BASF FIRMENCUP has been unbroken. Companies in the region take advantage of the opportunity to strengthen their team spirit together with their colleagues and at the same time experience the legendary racing scenery at close quarters. The joy of exercising together and the fun of celebrating with colleagues afterwards have always taken precedence over individual success and best times.
Nevertheless, the first thing to do is to complete the 5.2 km course – whether alone or in a team, with colleagues or friends, as inline skaters, runners, walkers or Nordic walkers. Afterwards, there will be plenty of celebrations in the Meeting Point Area. In addition to numerous refreshment stands, participants can look forward to an attractive supporting programme with cool live music. The future generation of runners will also be well catered for: after the children’s run, there will be plenty of opportunities to play at the ‘Kids Meeting Point’.
All employees from companies in the metropolitan region, as well as individual starters, are cordially invited to experience the special atmosphere of this exciting mass sports event.
