2027 DTM: Alpine opener, city spectacle, and North Sea action

Munich. Three countries, eight race weekends, 16 races: the DTM has announced its race calendar for 2027, with the season starting at the Red Bull Ring presented by VKB-Bank. As well as the Formula 1 circuit in Austria, Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands is the second venue outside of Germany to host the high-profile series. They are joined by six renowned racetracks in Germany. In keeping with tradition, the finale will take place at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg. Fans can look forward to six months packed with motorsport action between the season opener and the grand finale. Tickets for the 2027 DTM go on sale on 11th October, the final day of this year’s DTM.
The next pursuit of the prestigious title begins from 23rd to 25th April 2027 against the impressive backdrop of the Styrian Alps. Following its successful premiere as this year’s season opener, the Red Bull Ring will again host the first two races of the championship, and promises motorsport surrounded by breath-taking mountain scenery. Just two weeks later, from 7th to 9th May, the DTM will be at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Precision and consistency are invaluable at the technically demanding circuit near Magdeburg.
The next challenge is the Dekra Lausitzring, from 18th to 20th June. Then comes one of the highlights of the season: the Norisring will once again see Nuremberg transformed into the DTM capital from 2nd to 4th July. Germany’s only street circuit delights visitors and spectators every year with its unique atmosphere, packed grandstands, and spectacular door-to-door battles between barriers and concrete walls.
At the height of the summer, the DTM heads to the North Sea coast of the Netherlands from 6th to 8th August. Circuit Zandvoort, nestled in the dune landscape right by the sea, forms the stage for races nine and ten of the season. The deciding phase of the title race begins just two weeks later at the Nürburgring. The series is in the Eifel from 20th to 22nd August, before the Sachsenring (24th to 26th September) hosts the final chapter before the highlight of the season.
Everything will be on the line when the DTM lines up for the finale at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg from 8th to 10th October. The title race will be decided at the iconic Grand Prix circuit, where heroes will be born and the 2027 DTM champion crowned.

With eight top-class race weekends, racetracks steeped in tradition, and a balanced mix of national highlights and international outings, we are once again able to offer fans, teams and partners a calendar that is right out of the top drawer,” says ADAC Motorsport Director Thomas Voss.
