  • Famous names: Among the more than 500 participants in twelve racing series are numerous former racing stars
  • One-day tickets are available for starting at just 10 euros
  • Livestream from the race track

The excitement of the “Bosch Hockenheim Historic – The Jim Clark Revival” is growing. Spectacular motorsport with beautiful racing cars that bring back memories of the good old days, prominent participants – and all this finally in front of spectators again, who will be offered pure racing on the three days of the event.
In addition to the eleven racing series for formula, touring and sports cars of different eras, the “FHR HTGT for the Dunlop Trophy” has been added as a twelfth series. In the early 1990s, the “Historische Tourenwagen Trophy” (HTWT), initiated and organized by the “Fahrergemeinschaft Historischer Rennsport e.V.” (FHR), opened up to the general public. (FHR) also opened up to GT vehicles about 15 years ago and renamed itself the Historic Touring Car and GT Trophy (HTGT). Full fields and exciting races have always been a trademark of the FHR HTGT.

Unequal duel between father and son Asch

The joy and fascination for historic motorsport is traditionally shared by those who were among the protagonists on the race track in earlier times. Big names such as Harald Grohs, Leopold Prince of Bavaria and Marco Werner will be on the grid at the Bosch Hockenheim Historic. A very special father-son get-together will take place in the VFV-GLPpro race on Saturday. DTM legend and original Swabian Roland Asch, who is now really and truly 70 years old, won’t miss the opportunity to drive Wolfgang Ziegler’s 80-hp Racing Trabant around the 4.5 kilometers of the Hockenheimring. Sebastian Asch (34) drives a Ginetta with 240 hp in the same race. Considering a power difference of around 160 hp, there will probably be no father-son duel. But anyone who knows Roland Asch knows that the joy of racing has always been high on his list of priorities. And that also applies to the two-stroke down the long parabolic track.

Livestream from the race track

All race fans who can’t be on site this weekend still have the opportunity to follow the exciting action at the Bosch Hockenheim Historic live. For the first time, there will be a free livestream from the race track on saturday and sunday starting at 9 a.m. on the website www.hockenheim-historic.de. Cameras will be in use around the Grand Prix circuit and the track commentary will be heard, which will also be broadcast to the paddock.

Corona regulations and ticket prices

Spectators will be allowed in the grandstands and the paddock at the “Bosch Hockenheim Historic – The Jim Clark Revival”. Relevant for the entrance is the 3G-regulation (Vaccinated-Cured-Tested). In consideration of the new Corona regulation, there is an obligation to wear a medical mask outdoors only if the minimum distance cannot be reliably kept. This is the case at the Bosch Hockenheim Historic at the ticket control stations, the entrances (e.g. to the paddock) and the stairways to the grandstands. On the grandstand seats themselves and whenever there is a minimum distance of 1.5 meters, the mask can be removed.

Ticket prices start at 10 euros for a Friday ticket, one-day tickets for Saturday and Sunday cost from 30 euros each, and those who want to experience the entire weekend live can buy tickets starting at 45 euros. Tickets are available at the Online Ticket Shop or by calling the hotline at +49(0)6205 950-222.
