Hockenheim fills last slot on 2020 ADAC GT Masters calendar
- The circuit in Baden-Württemberg will host the penultimate round of next year’s Super Sports Car League
- Registration for the 2020 season starts on 2nd December
Munich: The final piece in the jigsaw for the 2020 ADAC GT Masters is now in place. The one remaining slot on the calendar (weekend of 18th – 20th September) has been taken by the Hockenheimring. As in 2019, the Hockenheim fixture will be the penultimate event of the campaign. Teams can begin registering online for the 2020 ADAC GT Masters from 2nd December onwards. The season opener (24th – 26th April) will be hosted by Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The free-to-air TV channel SPORT1 will once again be showing all races live and in full length.
The billing for the Hockenheim weekend will be shared by the usual support series: fans attending the penultimate race weekend of the 2020 season can expect to be entertained by the ADAC GT4 Germany, the ADAC TCR Germany, ADAC Formula 4 and the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.
Teams who are keen to get their registrations in early can complete the process from 2nd December onwards. Early comers who enrol by 13th December will benefit from attractive conditions. The closing date for applications is 13th March 2020. After receipt of fees from all applicants, the ADAC will allocate 28 starting positions. The organisers reserve the right to increase size of the field by a further six starting positions.
