Von April bis Oktober gastiert die DTM auf Strecken in Deutschland, Österreich und den Niederlanden

Eight events in three countries: presenting the 2024 DTM calendar

  • DTM releases the 2024 calendar in good time to allow planning certainty
  • Season-opener in Oschersleben, finale in Hockenheim in keeping with tradition

Munich. The DTM has set course for the 2024 season and has already released the race calendar for the coming year. The ADAC, as promoter of the DTM, hopes this will allow the competitors to plan their schedule with greater certainty. Eight events and a total of 16 races are planned for next year, with the DTM visiting circuits in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands between April and October. Motorsport Arena Oschersleben hosts the opening round of the popular racing series from 26th to 28th April. In keeping with tradition, the finale will take place at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg (18th to 20th October). TV partner ProSieben will continue to broadcast the DTM next year, while the races will be available to watch on ServusTV in Austria.

After the season-opener in Oschersleben in April, and the subsequent race weekend at the DEKRA Lausitzring (24th to 26th May), the DTM circus travels abroad for the first time – to the Formula 1 track at Circuit Zandvoort (7th to 9th June) on the North Sea coast of the Netherlands. The DTM drivers then go head to head on the streets of Nuremberg: the Norisring enjoys cult status and, as the only street circuit in Germany, will be one of the highlights of the season from 5th to 7th July. Next up are another two iconic German racetracks, in the form of the Nürburgring (16th to 18th August) and the Sachsenring (6th to 9th September). The Formula 1 circuit at the Red Bull Ring (27th to 29th September) in Spielberg (Austria) is the venue for the penultimate round, before Hockenheim hosts the grand finale to the season.

“It is important for the participants to be able to plan with certainty in good time. By confirming the calendar so early, we have allowed them to do so. The concept of the DTM, under the umbrella of the ADAC, has been well received by the fans so far this year. We will be building on that success in 2024. We are also currently looking into the option of adding another European event outside of Germany to the 2024 calendar,” says ADAC Motorsport Director Thomas Voss.
