NitrOlympX 2025 – Speed Festival on the Quarter Mile

This weekend is the big one: everything at the Hockenheimring will be all about high speed and adrenaline. NitrOlympX, Europe’s largest drag racing event, returns to the Rico Anthes Quartermile for the 38th time from August 29 to 31, 2025. For three days, hundreds of drivers will compete in 20 racing classes, united by one goal: uncompromising acceleration. In just a few seconds, the fastest vehicles reach speeds of over 500 km/h – a spectacle that visitors to the Motodrom can experience up close.
Over 260 international teams will compete at the Hockenheim Motodrom on the last weekend in August to collect valuable points in the FIA and FIM European Championship title race. Following stops in Santa Pod (Great Britain) and Tierp (Sweden), Hockenheim is once again a key stage in this year’s racing calendar. On four wheels, the FIA classes Top Fuel, Top Methanol, Pro Modified, and Pro Stock will provide top-class competition. The field of two-wheelers will be no less spectacular when the FIM professionals battle for championship points in the disciplines Top Fuel Bike, Super Twin Bike, Pro Stock Bike, Super Street Bike, and Junior Drag Bike.
The wide-ranging Sportsman categories also have their place on the starting list. The field ranges from Funny Bike, Super Twin Top Gas, and Super Comp to ET Bike, Super Pro ET, Super Comp, Super Gas, Pro ET, and Junior Dragsters. This area in particular is characterized by a high degree of technical diversity and a large number of participants.
Program for the whole family
NitrOlympX offers much more than just racing. A hallmark of the weekend is the direct contact with drivers and teams: in the freely accessible paddock, fans can view the vehicles up close, follow the work of the teams, strike up conversations, get autographs, and take part in special tours.
Guests can also look forward to lots of fan activities, exhibitions, an extensive shopping area, a wide range of street food, and a US car meet. The latter will feature hot rods and special classics such as the Chevrolet Tri Five, celebrating its 70th anniversary.
The event will be rounded off by the night show on Saturday evening, which has now achieved cult status. Jet dragsters, top fuelers, pyrotechnics, stunts, music, and a light show transform the Motodrom into a breathtaking stage. And if you still haven’t had enough after this fiery spectacle on the quarter mile, you can continue the party in the paddock with the rock cover band “Insanity” feat. John Seegert.
With its mix of top-class sport, ambitious popular sport, and thrilling entertainment, NitrOlympX has been one of the biggest crowd pullers on the European drag racing scene since 1986. Last year, more than 45,000 tickets sold set a new visitor record. Once again, a large audience from all over Europe is expected, contributing significantly to the unique character of the event.

Friday tickets are available from €39.00, and a weekend ticket for three days of action costs from €75.00. All tickets include access to the paddock and are available from the online ticket shop at www.hockenheimring.de.
