Investors/city signature notarised // ‘The future of the Ring has now been contractually approved’

The entry of the new investors at the Hockenheimring was notarised on Thursday, 22 May 2025.

The city was represented by Lord Mayor Zeitler and the managing directors of Hockenheim-Ring GmbH, Jochen Nerpel and Jorn Teske, were on site to sign the framework agreement together with the BMC (Badischer Motorsport-Club) and the representative of the investor group.

This marks an important milestone for the Hockenheimring as well as for the city of Hockenheim and secures a promising future for the location.

Tim Brauer, who has always been part of the Emodrom Group, was visibly delighted. “Now we can finally get started, and I would like to thank everyone involved, including the local council and all citizens, for the trust they have placed in us. All the investors involved are looking forward to the future realisation of the planned projects,” explains Tim Brauer.

Lord Mayor Marcus Zeitler adds: “The fact that we now have a secure future ahead of us not only gives the Hockenheimring, but also the city, a sense of security. I am delighted that we have been able to attract such great investors and that the Hockenheimring is being steered into safe waters. My thanks go to everyone who made this project possible.”
