The series was founded in 2006 by GT Sport, the Madrid-based company of former sports car and GT driver Jes\u00fas Pareja. Since then, the championship has grown steadily and enjoys great popularity among teams and drivers from all over the world. The race calendar features eight of the most prestigious FIA Formula 1-rated circuits in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The format consists of two races of 70 and 50 minutes at the standard events, as well as a 500-kilometre endurance race each at Spa and Monza, ensuring non-stop action. Equally appreciated is the friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the paddock, which gives the series its very own special charm.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>ALL THE BIG BRANDS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The 2026 season builds on the successes of recent years and will once again feature a strong line-up, close battles for position and thrilling duels at the front. All the major GT brands (Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes, Porsche, etc.) are represented, as are some of the best GT3 teams and drivers.<\/p>\n<p>The field is divided into three classes: Pro, Pro-Am and Am.
