{"id":28955,"date":"2025-03-05T15:05:21","date_gmt":"2025-03-05T14:05:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hockenheimring.de\/?p=28955"},"modified":"2025-04-24T12:28:30","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T10:28:30","slug":"international-gt-open-motodrom-insight-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hockenheimring.de\/en\/2025\/03\/international-gt-open-motodrom-insight-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"International GT Open \/\/ Motodrom Insight 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With summer comes the GT Open!<\/p>\n<p>After a successful return to the Hockenheimring last year, the International GT Open will visit again the iconic track in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg on the weekend of 8<sup>th<\/sup> June, for the delight of teams and drivers and all the fans of GT racing in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The International GT Open has consolidated a one of the best GT3 championships in Europe, offering the best platform for Pro-Am racing and the highest performance level in GT3 racing. Created in 2006 by GT Sport, the Madrid-based company of former sportscar and GT driver Jes\u00fas Pareja, the series has grown steadily and has proven very successful with teams and drivers from all over the world. Its calendar includes eight of the most prestigious F.1-graded tracks in Europe, the format (2 races of 70 and 50 minutes respectively in standard events, a single Endurance of 240 minutes in Spa and Monza) guarantees exciting action, and the friendly atmosphere in the paddock is also one of the most appreciated features of the series.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025 season promises to be again very well attended and closely-fought: it has attracted around 35 full-season contenders, with all the great GT brands (Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes, McLaren, etc) represented and some of the greatest GT3 teams and drivers being part of the field, divided into three classes (Pro, Pro-Am and Am). Germany is very well represented, with well-known teams such as GetSpeed Performance, Team Motopark, SPS automotive performance, and Car Collection to name just a few.<\/p>\n<p>The rich race program at the Hockenheimring will also include the other GT Sport-promoted series, i.e. \u00a0the GT Cup Europe and the Euroformula Open, which features the new Dallara 324 cars, powered by Tom\u2019s engines, as well as the spectacular TCR Europe.<\/p>\n<p>A great summer racing weekend in perspective!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With summer comes the GT Open!
